EROSION Control Matt

Erosion Control Ltd are able to provide our specialised erosion fabrics.

Due to the tougher regulations enforced by Local Council Bodies, we are now being asked to provide erosion protection for smaller areas. Many of these areas are too large to hand mulch but too small for mulching machines. We now supply Erosion Control Matt for such circumstances. We are also finding our Erosion Control Matt to be extremely useful when high or consistent winds are preventing us from straw mulching.

Our Erosion Control Matt can be used as a stand alone product or as protection of seeded areas.

Unique Solution

Problem: A Client contacted us from Waiheke Island wanting some strawmulching done on a small earthworks site. There are some urgency as the local body was calling for immediate protection. Our client was required to close (cover) the open ground every night.

Solution: We suggested instead of strawmulching he purchased some of our erosion control matt. This matting is ideal for such applications as it can be used as a temporary cover over night and lifted in the morning so earthwork can resume. It may also be placed prior to rain events and removed afterwards. This solution worked perfectly for our client.
