Erosion Control Co Ltd developed Liquid Soil™ after 30 years of experience in the hydroseeding business. Liquid Soil™ is a premium Hydroseeding product that provides better grass establishment in poorer soils as well as improved erosion prevention. Liquid Soil™ is applied a lot thicker than conventional hydroseeding providing the grass seeds with more medium to establish in.

Liquid Soil™ is dark in colour similar to topsoil, this dark colour attracts ultraviolet light keeping germinating seeds warm in the cooler months. Liquid Soil™ has better water retention qualities due to the unique biodegradable fibers and tackifiers which improves the grasses ability to survive in the summer. Liquid Soil™ can be used wherever conventional hydroseeding is used.

Unique Solutions

Problem: Recently a customer asked how he could grow grass directly into a parking area he had constructed. He wanted a gravel surface to enable vehicles to park on the area in all weather conditions as well as having a nice cover of green grass.

Solution: Erosion Control suggested he use Liquid Soil™ which, was adjusted to be more fluid than normal so that it would permeate into the stony surface. In addition we changed the species of grass to more suit the specific site requirements.

Liquid Soil™ can be pumped into the crevasses in a rock wall providing an inert medium for planting native or other plants. This has produced impressive results.
